Why XML on the Web is a bad idea again

Here's what Lifearea produces when clicking on Rustyvisor progress report:
XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
Location: file:///
Line Number 416, Column 13:
The <a http:="">Great Renaming</a>
------------^
See, on the Net (or, rather, the Web) you are supposed to be liberal in what you receive. It's not the world of office word processing where the error-free transmission of documents is essential. I would prefer reading the text rendered imperfectly than not reading it at all.

I do not remember whence I got the name "Rustyvisor". It may be #kernel or some blog. Anyway, it sounds far better than LL, standing for Linux on Linux. Too homogeneous.
