John threw a link to IRC that indicates that Wiki people hit 173,000,000 objects. This is 1e4 times fewer than Amazon S3 has, but 10 times more than Sina has. I heard more about Sina's performance issues and apparently they had issues with lots of updates to those objects; there was talk about sharding. Wiki guys probably do not update so much... Those objects are jpegs or something like that, so they only need to scale the auditors and replicators. Still, that's a heck of a pile of objects, even if so.
